Data Entry Specialist – Remote / Work from Home Position
Individuals considering this entry level position must reside in one of the following metro areas:
Phoenix, AZ – Kansas City (MO or KS) – Union City TN

XBLUE is a nationwide brand of business telephone systems for small to medium size businesses.  The Data Entry Specialist reports to the XBLUE Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and works directly with XBLUE accounting, operations and sales and customer services team members.  This is a part-time, work from home position – 4 hours per workday, Monday through Friday.  Company business hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm central time, Monday through Friday.  The position offers work flexibility and time off options within XBLUE business hours.   Computer and telecom equipment suited for Work from Home use are provided by XBLUE. 

The primary responsibility of the Data Entry Specialist is to setup customer accounts and process customer orders.  Customers make purchases themselves via the XBLUE website, other online methods and in coordination with Sales Associates who assist in the order creation process.  The Data Entry Specialist may be required to contact customers to verify or obtain account or order information.

Position skills requirements:  

  • Enter orders and other customer information into XBLUE databases.
  • Interact with other XBLUE team members as needed when questions arise.
  • Communicate via email and verbally with customers as needed.
  • Basic computer skills (training provided for XBLUE specific applications).
  • Effective communications skills using verbal email and chat methods.
  • Reliable Internet service is required (not provided by XBLUE).

Skills and experience that are not required, but desirable:

  • Phone based customer service experience.
  • Assist company receptionists with handling incoming telephone calls, email, and other forms of incoming customer communications.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Google Workspace experience (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Spreadsheets and Chat).

Sales Associate – Remote / Work from Home Position
Individuals considering this entry level position must reside in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area.
 
XBLUE is a nationwide brand of business telephone systems for small to medium size businesses. The Sales Associate reports to the XBLUE Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and works directly with other sales team members and other XBLUE teams. This is a part-time, work from home position – 4 hours per workday, Monday through Friday.  Company business hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm central time, Monday through Friday.  The position offers work flexibility and time off options with in XBLUE business hours.  
Computer and telecom equipment suited to Work from Home use are provided by XBLUE.
 
Initial position requirements:  
  • Set appointments for sales call back with customers with previous XBLUE interest (no cold calling).
  • Send follow-up and notification emails to customers as needed. 
  • Assist company receptionists with handling incoming telephone calls, email, and other forms for incomings customer communications.
  • Reliable Internet service is required (not provided by XBLUE).
 
XBLUE will provide on-going training to build the following job skills.
 
Sales Leads:  Sales Associates are part of the overall XBLUE sales team responsible for working directly with sales leads from prospective and existing customers seeking information about XBLUE products to purchase.  Sales leads may be direct incoming calls, online form submissions and email communications.  The Sales Associate is responsible for responses and follow up communications with prospective customers.
 
Customer Pricing Quotes: In some cases, potential customers may require XBLUE to provide a price “quote”. In these cases the Sales Associate is responsible to compose and send pricing emails to customers. The associate is also responsible for follow up communications with the customers regarding the pricing and other information sent to the customer. Follow up may be a live phone call or email.
 
Customer Orders: Customers make purchases themselves via the XBLUE website, or customers may require a Sales Associate to assist in the order creation process, including creation of customer accounts on the XBLUE website. When assisting customers with orders this may require directing the customer when attempting to use the XBLUE website, or the associate may need to create the order manually. Certain XBLUE products and services require the Sales Associate to follow up with customers regarding product and service set up.
 
Skills and experiences that are not required, but desirable:
  • Phone based customer service experience
  • Computer skills using Windows based programs
  • Telephone systems and IT services sales experience
  • Google Workspace experience (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Spreadsheets and Chat)
